RN Position Job Notes:

Travel or Local Registered Nurse needed for ASAP start. A minimum of 2+ years of recent hospital bedside experience is required. Candidates must be able to start within 5 weeks. Opportunity for extension upon successful completion of the initial assignment. $750 referral bonus available.

Job Details:

• Work 12-hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
• 13-week contract assignment
• Take 6:1 patient assignments, possibly 5:1
• No on-call requirements
• Work every other weekend
• Telemetry and Med/Surg experience required
• Must have Basic Life Support certification
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support and TNCC preferred
• Work with Welch Allyn Vital Signs equipment and GE Telemetry Monitoring
• Use MediTech EMR system
• Perform procedures including Wound Vac, CPM Machines, External Fixation, and Bracing
• Work in Ortho/Trauma specialty unit
• Navy scrubs required
• Must be outgoing and team-oriented to fit unit culture

Facility:

This medical center features a 34-bed Ortho/Trauma telemetry unit on the 7th floor, staffed with experienced healthcare professionals including charge nurses, staff nurses, PCTs, and unit clerks. The facility maintains modern equipment and technology to support comprehensive patient care. The unit has received recognition including ICARE Award and multiple Daisy Awards, demonstrating excellence in patient care and nursing practice.
