We are currently expanding our geriatric behavioral health team and are seeking a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) who shares our commitment to exceptional patient-centered care. • Perform comprehensive psychiatric assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
  

• Prescribe, manage, and adjust psychotropic medications in collaboration with attending providers.
  

• Provide training and educational sessions for facility staff on behavioral health best practices.
  

• Work closely with nursing, therapy, and social work teams to ensure coordinated, holistic care.
  

• Maintain accurate, compliant, and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
  

• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement initiatives.
  

• Active New York State Nurse Practitioner license and current PMHNP certification.
  

• At least one year of psychiatric or behavioral health experience is preferred (new graduates encouraged to apply).
  

• Proficient understanding of psychopharmacology and evidence-based interventions.
  

• Strong clinical judgment, diagnostic, and communication skills.
  

• Empathetic, patient-focused approach to care delivery.
