As a PATROL_UNARMED Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a chemical and petrochemical location, helping to deter security-related incidents through your visible presence. You will conduct routine patrols, manage access points, and interact with individuals onsite, providing outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and adhering to site-specific policies, including responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity, with awareness that working environments may vary depending on the chemical and petrochemical location.
• Monitor for any unusual activity or potential hazards related to the unique operations of a chemical or petrochemical environment, and report findings promptly.
• Support access control measures by observing entry and exit points, checking credentials when required, and assisting with visitor management procedures.
• Communicate observations and incidents to Allied Universal management and/or client representatives as necessary, maintaining thorough and accurate documentation.
• Assist in implementing emergency response protocols in the event of incidents such as spills, alarms, or evacuations within the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control or badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
