Injection Molding Equipment Reliability Technician

Location: Lancaster, MA | Employment: Full-time | Compensation: Up to $38/hour | Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM

A day in the life

You start your shift with a quick pass through the molding floor, checking logs and prioritizing preventive maintenance. A clamp isn’t holding pressure—your diagnostic flow takes you from mechanical checks to pneumatics and then to the vacuum system. By mid-morning you’ve calibrated sensors on an injection molding press, swapped worn components, and verified the tooling setup for a product changeover. After lunch, a robot on a material handling cell throws a fault; you isolate the issue, tune the program parameters, and bring the cell back online. Before you clock out, you complete scheduled PMs and document work to keep uptime high and quality consistent.

What you will do

• Install, maintain, and repair injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and vacuum systems to root cause
• Execute preventive maintenance and perform precise calibrations
• Support production with equipment setups and tooling adjustments for changeovers
• Work with robotics, automation, and material handling systems to improve reliability

What you bring

• 3+ years of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
• Proven diagnostic and repair skills across mechanical/electrical/pneumatic systems
• Exposure to automation/robotics preferred
• You should be proficient in: Injection Molding Experience
