Route 119 Trucking has been one of the leading contractors in the Terre Haute facility.

Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently to various locations. This role requires a strong focus on customer service, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to manage delivery routes effectively.

Duties:

• Operate box trucks or vans to deliver products to designated locations.
• Ensure timely delivery of items while following established routes.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and compliance.
• Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including tracking shipments and obtaining signatures.
• Communicate effectively with other staff and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues that may arise.

Requirements:

• Must be 21+
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Clean background
• Experience in commercial driving is preferred; familiarity with box trucks or vans is a plus.
• Ability to lift heavy items (up to 50 pounds) safely and efficiently. 150 pounds With Dolly.
• Knowledge of route driving and navigation skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• For Hire endorsement required. Will help provide when hired
• Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and DOT screening
• DOT Medical card (will be provided at drug screen)
• High school diploma or higher
• Positive get it done attitude.
• Good attendance
• Weekend availability

Start pay is $145-180 a day
