Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and driven Field Service Technician with at least 1 year of electrical, general service technician, or related hands-on experience. In this role, you will troubleshoot, repair, install, and maintain lighting systems and components for commercial clients. You’ll serve as the face of All States Lighting, ensuring excellent customer service and safe, efficient project execution.
Pay is based on experience and negotiable for people with more experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair lighting systems, fixtures, and components
- Perform scheduled maintenance and energy-efficient lighting upgrades
- Maintain accurate service documentation and job completion reports
- Ensure adherence to all safety guidelines, industry codes, and company standards
- Provide customer support on-site and communicate project status clearly
- Manage tools, parts, and equipment needed for daily service operations
- Travel to local and regional job sites as required
Qualifications
- Must have a minimum 1 year of experience in electrical work, facility maintenance, field service, or a similar technical role
- Must have a valid drivers license and reliable means of transportation
- Must be willing to undergo a drug screening and Florida background check
- Basic understanding of electrical systems, tools, and diagnostic equipment
- Ability to interpret work orders, manuals, and technical drawings
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills
- Comfortable working at heights (ladders, lifts, etc.)
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in various indoor/outdoor environments
Preferred but Not Required
- Electrical certifications or training (e.g., Apprentice Electrician)
- Experience with LED systems, controls, or commercial lighting products
- OSHA 10 or other safety certifications
