About The Position
We are seeking an experienced Interventional Radiologist for a 365-day locum tenens assignment in New York starting Jan 5, 2026. This opportunity offers a Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm day shift schedule. Providers must be board certified or board eligible in Interventional Radiology per the American Board of Radiology and have a minimum of two years of relevant experience.

- Provider Type Needed: Interventional Radiologist
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00am – 4:30pm local time; on-call providers must be available within 15 minutes by phone and on-site within 60 minutes
Responsibilities and Duties
- Perform a full range of interventional radiology procedures including:
- Angiography
- Cryoablation
- Balloon angioplasty and stent placement
- Line insertion
- Chemoembolization
- IVC filter placement
- Cholecystostomy
- Kyphoplasty
- Drain insertions
- Nephrostomy placement
- Embolization
- Radiologically guided gastrostomy
- Thrombolysis
- Dialysis access and related interventions
- Biopsy
- TIPS placement
- Radiofrequency and microwave ablation
- Biliary interventions
- Adhere to established clinical protocols and quality standards
- Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of all procedures
- Collaborate effectively with referring providers and clinical staff
- Provide on-call coverage as required
Additional Information
- Board certification or eligibility in Interventional Radiology and Diagnostic Radiology is required
- Must hold a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology
- Must hold a valid medical license applicable to New York
