Pet Sitter Wanted - Sanford, Michigan Pet Sitter Opportunity

Posting: Hello my name is Phil. I'm looking for occasional dog sitters working in Sanford, Michigan. I'm updating our previous profile. We have a 7 1/2 year old "Newfador" (Newfoundland / Black Lab mix) named Bodhi. His brother just passed away in October 2024. We have a wonderful sitter who has pretty much become family, but she's unfortunately relocating to Florida in the spring. Duties: Bodhi will need feeding, taking out for using the yard, and general companionship. Can be a little excitable when someone first arrives, but calms down very quickly and is actually pretty well behaved. He does have a little anxiety when we leave, and that has actually increased slightly since Bear passed, seeing someone leave and not come home, but that passes quickly, especially if distracted with treats. Our boy is absolutley family, not just a pet. We understand that not everyone shares this view. So if that's your take, you're welcome to it, but keep moving. We've contacted a number of people through here as well as been contacted. But the messaging system on here is horrible, and also masks all phone numbers and email, so we're hoping that improves.
