American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at a high-risk OB facility in Eureka, CA, requiring a CA RN license and Epic experience.
Details- Labor & Delivery unit in a hospital setting caring for a high-risk OB and culturally diverse patient population
- RNs are required to circulate on cesarean sections
- Unit has 11 rooms and 15 beds with an average daily census of 15–20 patients
- Night shift: 3x12-hour shifts, 6:00 PM – 6:30 AM
- Weekend work required to meet staffing needs
- Floating required within scope to meet facility needs; travelers are first to float, including across all facilities within the state
- Epic EMR experience required
- Active CA RN license required; pending licenses are not accepted
- Minimum 1 year of Labor & Delivery nursing experience
- BLS certification required
- Epic EMR proficiency required
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration
- First-time travelers are welcome to apply
- RTO is limited to no more than 7 days for the duration of the assignment
- Former permanent employees of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility
- Refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment
