American Traveler is hiring a travel RN for a Level III NICU position at a 536-bed acute care teaching hospital in Oregon, requiring 2 years of Level III NICU experience and Epic proficiency.

  • Level III NICU in a 536-bed short-term acute care teaching hospital
  • \n
  • Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00)
  • \n
  • Every other weekend required
  • \n
  • Patient ratios of 1:1, 2:1, or 3:1 depending on patient acuity
  • \n
  • Charting via Epic (experience required)
  • \n
  • On-call required as agreed upon with the RN
  • \n
  • Floating between units and facilities within Oregon is expected based on unit needs and skill set
  • \n
  • 13-week contract
  • \n
Requirements\n
    \n
  • Active Oregon (OR) RN license required
  • \n
  • Current BLS certification required
  • \n
  • Minimum 2 years of Level III NICU experience required
  • \n
  • Epic EMR experience required
  • \n
  • Must have a personal vehicle for this assignment
  • \n
  • At least 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty/setting required for consideration
  • \n
  • Full SSN and DOB required for consideration
  • \n
Additional Information\n
    \n
  • Travelers are expected to float between all facilities within Oregon, including Milwaukie, Newberg, Portland, Hood River, Willamette Falls, and Seaside; refusal to float may result in termination
  • \n
  • Former permanent staff of this health system must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the submitting facility
  • \n
  • Candidates with prior work history at a Providence facility (permanent, travel, or per-diem) must disclose location and dates of service
  • \n
  • Scrubs: any color accepted for general units
  • \n
  • Minimal RTO is strongly preferred for this position
  • \n
  • No parking fee on-site
  • \n
