Position: RN-L&D-Labor and Delivery (Travel/Contract)

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to labor and delivery patients.

• Monitor and assess patient conditions during labor and delivery.

• Achieve individual performance targets and contribute to team goals.

• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop patient care plans.

• Participate in professional development and training opportunities.

• Engage in performance measurement and improvement initiatives.

• Educate patients and families on labor and delivery processes.

• Document patient care activities and outcomes accurately.

• Evaluate and implement best practices in labor and delivery care.

• Adhere to safety and infection control protocols.

• Maintain a high level of visibility in work activities.

• Support and mentor junior nursing staff as needed.

Experience/Qualifications

• Registered Nurse (RN) license in Indiana or compact state.

• Commitment to ongoing professional development and training.

• Experience in labor and delivery nursing is highly preferred.

• Ability to assess and respond to patient conditions effectively.

• Track record of achieving individual and team performance targets.

• Strong communication skills for patient and team interactions.

• Familiarity with safety and infection control protocols.

• Proven ability to document patient care accurately and thoroughly.

• Experience in creating and implementing patient care plans.

• Willingness to mentor and support junior nursing staff.
