Warehouse Material Sorter – 2nd Shift
Location: Dade City, FL
Pay: $16 per hour
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 3:00 PM – 12:00 AM

Our company is a leading materials recovery and recycling facility (MRF) committed to sustainable waste management and environmental responsibility. We are expanding our operations and looking for motivated, dependable individuals to join our growing 2nd shift team.
Position Overview
We are seeking energetic and reliable Warehouse Material Sorters to join our recycling team. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in the recycling industry—no prior experience required! You’ll receive hands-on training and support to help you succeed and grow within the company.
As a Sorter, you will work along a conveyor line to separate and organize recyclable materials. This position requires focus, stamina, and the ability to maintain productivity in a fast-paced industrial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Sort and separate recyclable materials from a conveyor belt by category.
- Maintain consistent pace and accuracy while handling large volumes of materials.
- Assist with cleaning machinery, equipment, and general work areas.
- Follow proper safety and sorting procedures at all times.
- Perform repetitive motions and physical tasks throughout the shift.
- Work in an environment with airborne dust, dirt, and varying temperatures.
Qualifications & Requirements
- Ability to perform repetitive physical work for 8–10 hours per shift.
- Comfortable with climbing stairs and accessing equipment as needed.
- Strong teamwork skills and commitment to a safe work environment.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Manual dexterity, hand-eye coordination, and good reflexes.
- Adequate hearing and vision to safely perform job duties.
- Ability to lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
- Must wear employer-provided PPE and provide your own Knee-high steel rubber boots
- Must be able to work in environments with airborne dust and changing temperatures.
- Ability to stay alert, focused, and work safely at all times.
- Willingness to work overtime and occasional weekends when required.
- Must pass a pre-employment drug screening.
