Job Details:

• Work weekender schedule with 3x12 hour evening shifts
• Perform magnetic resonance imaging procedures using radiofrequencies within a magnetic field for diagnostic, therapeutic or research purposes
• Ensure correct patient identification, preparation for exams, and documentation while maintaining confidentiality
• Utilize appropriate imaging protocols and optimize technical factors while maximizing patient safety
• Prepare and administer medications through vascular access sites as prescribed
• Evaluate images for proper positioning and technical quality
• Verify archival storage and transfer of data with post-processing when applicable
• Educate and monitor students and other healthcare providers
• Apply magnetic resonance safety principles to minimize risk to patients and staff
• Assist with magnetic resonance interventional procedures
• Select appropriate pulse sequences considering established protocols and data acquisition parameters
• Participate in quality improvement activities
• Required certifications: ARRT and ARRT-MR, or ARMRIT, or primary ARRT-MR, or NMTCB and ARRT-MR, or NMTCB and ARMRIT
• Basic Life Support certification required
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology required
• Bachelor's degree in related field preferred
• Minimum 2 years related work experience required
