Our client, a leading organization in the medical device manufacturing industry, is seeking a Sr. Quality Technician to join their team. As a Sr. Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting inspection and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Sr. Quality Technician
Location: Plymouth, MN
Pay Range: $47/hr
What's the Job?
- Perform routine and First Article mechanical and visual inspections of procured materials, manufactured products, tooling, and processes according to IDEV documentation.
- Create and document inspection routines and instruct team members in the operation and use of measurement equipment.
- Document DHRs, log sheets, and non-conformances to support yield and compliance data.
- Develop solutions to moderate scope and complexity problems, collaborating with supervisors and engineers for recommendations.
- Ensure all product specifications meet regulatory standards and company quality requirements.
What's Needed?
- High school education or equivalent.
- A minimum of four years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
- At least three years of inspection experience in a medical device or related industry (certifications such as CMI, CQT, or equivalent highly preferred).
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations and multi-task independently with minimal supervision.
