Maintenance Technician

Job Title: Maintenance Technician

Pay Rate: $25.00/hr. + depending on experience

Hours: Training on 1st shift- Monday-Friday- 6:30am-3:30pm

                            2nd shift- Monday-Friday starting time between 1:30pm-2:00pm and work till at least 12:00am depending on workload

Length: Direct Hire

Location: Fond du Lac

 

Requirements:

• Must have a valid drivers license
• Experience with maintenance/mechanical systems is ideal but not required
  
• Stable work history is a must
• Must be mechanically inclined and able to trouble shoot situations
• Forklift experience preferred  
• The ability to sit, stand, walk, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders, grasping, fine and course manipulation, reaching both forward and above head level, and tolerant of temperature changes for the entire shift
• Must be able to push, pull and or lift up to 50lbs

Responsibilities:

• Perform preventative maintenance on all machinery
• Remove, install tools into designated presses 
• Replace seals, fill guns, knock outs, and other accessories as needed
• Document maintenance performed to ensure records are up to date
• Install logo plates
• Label defective materials for rebuild and store in proper location
• Storage and safe handling of tools
• Identify leaks in tooling and repair as needed
• Make sure all new and existing equipment or machinery is operating properly
• Perform light repairs, painting, general upkeeping as needed
• Troubleshoot equipment issues to identify root cause
• Adhere to all lock out/tag out best practices for safety
• Maintain clean and organized work area
• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on electrical systems, including power distribution, control systems at various voltages
• Monitor and maintain outside building maintenance such as shoveling, salting, etc.
• Other duties as assigned
