Description:
A hospital in Albany, NY is seeking an experienced Travel Surgical Technologist for a 13-week assignment. The technologist will assist in surgical procedures across multiple specialties, ensuring patient safety, sterile technique, and efficient OR workflow.

Requirements:

• Minimum 2 years of surgical tech experience

• NBSTSA CST required at the time of submission

• Strong experience in cardiac, neuro, thoracic, orthopedic, and vascular surgeries

Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons during procedures, maintaining sterile field and proper instrumentation

• Prepare operating rooms and equipment prior to surgery

• Anticipate surgeon and patient needs during procedures

• Ensure accurate counts and documentation of instruments and supplies

• Collaborate with surgical team to optimize patient outcomes

• Adhere to hospital policies, safety protocols, and infection control standards
