Our client, a leader in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a Sr. Quality Technician to join their team. As a Sr. Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance department supporting inspection and compliance efforts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

  • Perform routine and First Article mechanical and visual inspections of procured materials, manufactured products, tooling, and processes according to IDEV documentation.
  • Create and document inspection routines and instruct others in measurement equipment operation and use.
  • Document DHRs, log sheets, and non-conformances to support yield information and regulatory compliance.
  • Develop solutions to moderate scope and complexity problems, collaborating with supervisors and engineers for recommendations.
  • Review work for sound judgment, accuracy, and overall quality assurance standards.

What's Needed?

  • High school education or equivalent.
  • A minimum of four years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • At least three years of inspection experience in a medical device or related industry (certifications such as CMI, CQT, or equivalent are highly preferred).
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to read instructions and write detailed reports.
  • Ability to perform basic arithmetic calculations, multitask, and work independently with minimal supervision.
