Job Description
We are looking for an experienced IP Litigation Paralegal to join our team on a contract basis in Dallas, Texas. In this role, you will play a critical part in supporting litigation processes, including intellectual property cases and trial preparation. This position requires someone with a strong attention to detail and a solid background in civil litigation and discovery.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct thorough research and analysis related to discovery and litigation matters.
• Assist attorneys with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, evidence, and legal documents.
• Manage case files and ensure all documentation is accurately maintained using case management software.
• Support intellectual property litigation by preparing reports, drafting correspondence, and gathering relevant information.
• Collaborate with legal teams to ensure deadlines are met and procedures are followed.
• Summarize depositions and legal findings for attorney review.
• Monitor case progress and provide updates to attorneys as needed.
• Handle administrative tasks related to court filings and document submissions.
• Communicate effectively with clients and external parties to facilitate case progress.
• Stay informed about changes in legal regulations and procedures to ensure compliance.
• Proven experience as an IP Litigation Paralegal, specifically in intellectual property cases.
• Proficiency in handling discovery processes and trial preparation.
• Familiarity with case management software and tools.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases simultaneously.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a legal team.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accuracy in legal documentation.
