Job Description
Dermatology Physician Assistant will work alongside our team of dermatologists to provide comprehensive care for patients with skin conditions. The Dermatology Physician Assistant is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, as well as educating them on proper skin care and disease prevention.
Key Responsibilities:
Conduct patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as biopsies and blood work.
Develop and implement treatment plans for patients with skin conditions, including prescribing medications and performing procedures such as biopsies and excisions.
Educate patients on proper skin care, sun protection, and disease prevention.
Collaborate with dermatologists, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care for patients.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records.
Requirements:
Master's degree in physician assistant studies
Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA).
Current state license as a Physician Assistant.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in dermatology
