Responsibilities:

• Provide expert legal counsel on insurance coverage matters to clients.
• Interpret insurance policies, analyze coverage, and draft coverage opinions.
• Handle all aspects of litigation, including drafting pleadings, discovery, motion practice, trial preparation, negotiation, and settlement.
• Develop and maintain client relationships by providing exceptional service and advice.
• Collaborate with a team of attorneys to develop case strategies and legal arguments.
• Conduct legal research and analysis on a wide range of insurance coverage matters.
• Stay updated on current laws, regulations, and industry trends related to insurance coverage.
• Represent clients in court, before government agencies, or in private legal matters.
• Communicate effectively with clients, colleagues, judges, and others involved in the legal process.
• Participate in business development activities including marketing, networking, and client seminars.

Job Details

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate (JD) from an accredited law school.
• Must be licensed to practice law in the state.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an attorney with a focus on insurance coverage.
• Proven track record of representing clients in complex insurance coverage disputes.
• Strong knowledge of insurance laws, regulations, and industry trends.
• Excellent analytical, negotiation, research, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to providing high-quality legal advice.
• Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
• Experience in litigation, including trial preparation and courtroom representation.
• Proficiency in legal research tools and technology.
• Self-motivated and able to work both independently and as part of a team.
