We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented QA/QE Analyst to join our Partner's team at a leading financial institution. The ideal candidate will have deep experience in testing and validating commercial and consumer deposit applications, ensuring the integrity, performance, and security of mission-critical banking systems.
Successful candidates must be able to provide proof of ability to work in the U.S. without sponsorship. This position is not open to corp-to-corp, subcontractor or independent consulting arrangements.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop, and execute manual and automated test cases for deposit-related applications (e.g., account opening, transaction processing, interest calculation, overdraft protection).
Collaborate with product managers, developers, and business analysts to understand functional and non-functional requirements.
Perform end-to-end testing across multiple platforms (web, mobile, backend services).
Validate data integrity and transaction accuracy across commercial and consumer deposit workflows.
Conduct regression, integration, and performance testing for new releases and patches.
Ensure compliance with banking regulations and internal audit standards.
Identify, document, and track defects using tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, or similar.
Participate in Agile ceremonies (daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives).
Contribute to continuous improvement of QA processes and automation frameworks.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
5+ years of QA/QE experience in financial services, preferably with a focus on deposit systems.
Strong understanding of commercial and consumer banking products, including checking, savings, CDs, and money market accounts.
Experience with core banking platforms (e.g., FIS, Jack Henry, Temenos, Finastra).
Proficiency in test automation tools (e.g., Selenium, TestNG, Postman, Cucumber).
Familiarity with SQL and database validation.
Knowledge of API testing, RESTful services, and data exchange formats (JSON, XML).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
Exposure to cloud-based environments (AWS, Azure).
ISTQB or equivalent QA certification.
Understanding of risk management and compliance frameworks (e.g., FFIEC, SOX).
