A leading industrial manufacturer is seeking an experienced Facilities Manager to manage their facility near Wichita, KS. Working closely with the local leadership and with the help of direct reports, the incumbent will be responsible for managing the entire facilities maintenance program for the site, as well as upcoming projects/initiatives for the facility.

The Role:

  • Evaluate, Develop, and Implement a Preventive Maintenance Plan for the Facility.
  • Manage the installation of new machines, dismantling and relocation of existing machines, and construction of foundations for new machinery.
  • Manage maintenance duties in conformity with building codes, regulations, requirements, and general safety and good health practices.
  • Responsible for supervising the maintenance and facilities groups.
  • Create and manage budgets/schedules for facilities projects.


The Candidate:

  • 5+ years of Maintenance and Facilities experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in an industrial/heavy manufacturing setting.
  • High School Graduate or GED required.
  • Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with employees at all levels.
  • Lives locally in the Wichita area and happy travelling to the site daily
