Job Description

Work closely with technicians, parts department, Team Lead and Team Manager to evaluate all costs related to a service. Developing and maintaining relationships with company vendors and contractors. Collect and analyze data to determine the costs for materials, labor and time requirements for a service or product.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Be able to read request forms, drawings, and parts manuals to perform estimates/proposals
  • Review quote requests for required information. Obtain missing information from sources as needed
  • Research part, labor, equipment, and job expense needs, gathering quotes from vendors via phone, email, and websites; to generate service/repair quote
  • Preparing cost sheets by accurately estimating labor, materials, and associated job costs for service/repair needs
  • Proofread quotes for accuracy and required bullet points before sending to customers
  • Updating appropriate quote log(s) and internal staff members
  • Ability to work with customers, and other employees, in all situations while keeping a professional demeanor
  • Assist other team members as needed

 

Special Skills Required:

  • Great internal and external customer service skills
  • Exceptional research, verbal, and written communications skills
  • Experience with computers and MS Office applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint)
  • Must be good at organization, multitasking, communication, and time management skills.
  • Maintain a professional work ethic and demonstrate courtesy and respect in all aspects of the workday and routine.
  • Ability to work as a team member
