Automotive Quality Engineer

Here at Creative Liquid Coatings we do far more than just liquid coatings. Over the past 30 years the business has expanded to offer advanced plastic injection molding capability with 40 machines ranging in size from 100 ton to 3600 ton at our HQ facilities. In addition to plastics molding we offer world class automated paint finishing capability. Our versatile paint lines can handle parts that are very small and all the way up to 10 feet long. We process an array of performance materials from commodity grades to custom blends and engineered thermoplastic resins.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

·         Establish high standards of quality, reliability and safety for Quality Engineering

·         Direct Quality Engineer’s activities commensurate to customer and company deadlines

·         Establish priorities and ensure maximum usage of assigned resources in the quality department

·          Develop monthly reports showing inspection and audit performance and improvement opportunities for care inspection and quality engineers

·         Assist with meeting ISO9001 / IATF16949 initiatives

·         Support production management for interpretation and methods following set standards

·         Maintain working quality  knowledge and associate next tier application

·         Interpret quality control system to people within organization

·         Conduct meetings regularly with Quality Engineering Team to help consistency in teamwork

·         Lead and develop team driven actions to address data driven improvements

·         Interpret and support quality policies and implement guidelines to ensure compliance with quality standards and documents

·         Develop and maintain QA programs complementary to enterprise quality system, corporate objectives and policies

·         Guide organization personnel through new practices and problem solving

·         Supervise and review corrective solutions, prevent action, sort teams

·         Develop or revise standard operational and working practices and observes workers to ensure compliance with standards

·         Demonstrate Problem-solving Techniques and train Quality Engineers on standard techniques

·         Perform and Coordinates Process Capabilities using Statistical Techniques

·         Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
