Credit & Collections Specialist

Location: Hybrid in Bellevue, WA
Contract Type: Contract-to-Hire
Compensation: $33-$40/hour (approximately $68,640-$83,200 annually, DOE)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a detail-oriented Credit & Collections Specialist for a hybrid contract-to-hire opportunity in Bellevue, WA. This role is ideal for a professional who excels at managing customer credit, monitoring accounts, and ensuring timely collections. The right candidate is proactive, analytical, and able to maintain strong customer relationships while minimizing financial risk for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate customer creditworthiness and establish appropriate credit limits
  • Monitor accounts receivable aging and prioritize collection efforts
  • Contact customers regarding overdue invoices and payment arrangements
  • Resolve disputes and investigate discrepancies in a timely manner
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate billing and account data
  • Prepare credit reports, collection metrics, and other AR analyses for management
  • Support month-end close and ensure accurate AR reporting
  • Identify opportunities to improve credit and collections processes
Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience in accounts receivable, credit management, or collections
  • Strong knowledge of credit and collections processes and best practices
  • Proficiency with ERP/accounting systems and Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid environment
