Description\n

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Cardiac Cath Lab position at a Level II Trauma Center in Hudson, FL, requiring at least 1 year of Cath Lab experience and an active FL or compact RN license.

• Work is performed in a Cardiac Catheterization Lab on the 1st floor of the main building at a 309-bed Level II Trauma Center in Hudson, FL
\n
• Unit consists of 3 Cath Labs with a team of 8 RNs, 5 Techs, 2 Lead Techs, and 1 CNC on the day shift
\n
• Patient ratio is 1:1
\n
• Typical procedures include PCI, structural heart, and diagnostic catheterizations
\n
• Equipment used includes GE systems; EMR includes MacLab and Meditech
\n
• Shift hours are 7:00 AM – 5:30 PM (day shift only; no night shift)
\n
• 13-week contract
\n
• Every other weekend required, with holidays in rotation with hospital employees
\n

Requirements\n

\n
• Active FL or compact RN license required
\n
• BLS certification required (AHA or ARC accepted); certifications must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start
\n
• Minimum 1 year of recent Cath Lab RN experience required
\n
• US SSN and date of birth required for consideration
\n
• Two professional references required (Florida requirement)
\n
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
\n

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility; local candidates are not eligible
\n
• Navy blue scrubs are required for RNs
\n
• The unit is known for great teamwork and physicians
\n
• Parking is available anywhere on campus except the ER parking area
\n
