We are seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Supply Chain Assistant to join a leading organization in the renewable energy and construction industry. This role provides critical administrative and operational support to the supply chain team, ensuring smooth processes for procurement, invoice management, and equipment tracking. Ideal for recent graduates or professionals looking to grow in supply chain operations, this position offers hands-on experience with ERP systems and vendor management.
Job Description
As a Supply Chain Assistant, you will:
- Perform ERP data entry and maintain accurate records.
- Create purchase orders and process invoices for rentals, maintenance, and fuel using JD Edwards (JDE).
- Route documents to appropriate destinations within the system.
- Support equipment setup and updates in the ERP system.
- Collaborate with buyers and team members on special projects.
- Identify opportunities to streamline processes and improve efficiency.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of a two-year degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Finance, or related field; or equivalent education and experience.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Strong attention to detail, time management, and organizational skills.
- Ability to learn new software systems and work independently while meeting deadlines.
- Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Preferred:
- Experience with JD Edwards Enterprise One.
- Familiarity with Adobe Acrobat for document review and adjustments.
- Two years of administrative, database, or office experience.
