Fleet Mechanic / Technician

About the Role:

Join our team at Clarion Bathware as a Fleet Mechanic/Technician, responsible for ensuring the reliability and safety of our diverse vehicle fleet. This is a critical hands-on role involving comprehensive repair, inspection, and maintenance duties for all company vehicles.

Key Responsibilities:

• Repair and Diagnostics: Perform preventative maintenance (PMs), complex diagnostics, and repair work on a mixed fleet including:
  • Class 8 Semi-Trucks
  • Box Trailers
  • Heavy-duty and Light-duty Pickup Trucks
  • Passenger Vehicles/Vans
• Engine Expertise: Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair both diesel and gasoline engines.
• Regulatory Compliance: Conduct thorough PA State and/or Federal vehicle safety inspections and emission tests as required.
• Documentation: Accurately document all maintenance and repair activities, parts usage, and inspection results.
• Facility Care: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.

Required Qualifications:

• Licensure: Valid PA State and/or Federal Vehicle Inspection License is mandatory.
• Experience: Proven experience repairing and maintaining a mixed fleet of heavy-duty and light-duty vehicles (e.g., semi-trucks, trailers, pickups).
• Technical Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of vehicle systems (e.g., hydraulics, air brakes, electrical systems).
• Physical Requirements: Must be willing and able to perform repairs both inside the garage and outdoors, working in varying weather conditions (including hot and cold temperatures).

Compensation:

Compensation for this position is competitive and commensurate with experience. $25-$35/hour.
