Material Handler - Now Hiring

Our client, a leading environmental services provider, is seeking a Material Handler to join their team. As a Material Handler, you will be part of the Waste Management Department supporting operations related to non-hazardous waste handling. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work safely in a team environment.

Job Title: Material Handler

Location: Cincinnati, OH

Pay Rate: $26.00 per hour

What's the Job?

• Load and unload various size containers such as totes, drums, tankers, and trailers
• Construct boxes and fiber containers, then label and load them for processing or transportation
• Use tools like impact wrenches, shovels, and jackhammers to assist in waste handling tasks
• Transport waste materials within the facility as directed
• Decontaminate and dispose of empty drums and containers following safety and disposal guidelines

What's Needed?

• High School diploma or GED preferred
• Prior experience of 3 to 6 months in waste management or chemical handling preferred
• Proficiency in operating material handling equipment such as forklifts
• Ability to read and write effectively for communication and documentation
• Willingness to perform manual labor and work in a physically demanding environment
