Position Summary:
The Grinder will operate precision grinding machinery to produce and finish parts that meet exacting quality and tolerance standards. Working in a temperature-controlled and clean environment, the ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, safety conscious, and able to maintain consistent quality on small and complex parts.
Key Responsibilities:
Set up and operate grinding machines to finish parts to precise specifications
Perform routine inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with tolerances
Monitor machines during operation to detect malfunctions or inconsistencies
Maintain a clean, organized workspace consistent with company standards
Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding production and quality issues
Follow all safety protocols and wear proper personal protective equipment
Assist with machine maintenance and troubleshooting as needed
Record production data accurately and maintain documentation for quality control
Qualifications:
Prior experience operating precision grinding equipment in a manufacturing environment preferred
Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
Strong attention to detail and quality
Proficiency in measuring tools such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
Ability to stand and focus on fine work for extended periods
Good communication and teamwork skills
Commitment to maintaining a clean and safe work environment
