Job Description & Requirements

Histotechnologist (Histo Tech)
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8-hour Day Shifts
Radius Rule: 75 miles (locals accepted at reduced rate)
Position Details:
- Must have grossing experience (minimum 1+ year required)
- Must have full technical experience in all histology and cytology prep (embedding, cutting, IHC, etc.)
- Experience with Leica BOND MAX highly preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Science preferred (not required)
- Must hold a current NYS license as:
- Clinical Laboratory Technologist (CLT)
- Medical Technologist (MT)
- OR Histotechnologist (HTL)
Role Overview:
Responsible for accurate gross description, dissection, and processing of biopsies and tissue specimens under supervision. Will assist with accessioning, staining, cover slipping, routine maintenance, and cytology specimen preparation as needed.
