Radiologic Technologist / X-Ray Tech – Position Summary Department: Radiology Certifications Required: BLS ARRT North Dakota State License Screening Process: Profile review + manager interview Radius Rule: No candidates within 50 miles; cannot be FT/PT/PRN with CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity RTO: Must be submitted upfront (max 7 days per 13-week contract); no additional RTO approved after submission Department Details Treatment Areas: 7 Coverage Areas: Inpatient, outpatient, OR, ER Patient Population: Pediatrics through geriatrics Case Mix: High-volume ER, busy OR, fluoroscopy, general X-ray Required Skills Must have C-arm experience O-Arm experience preferred (can train) Must be experienced with portables and fluoroscopy Daily Volume 70–80 X-ray exams per day, plus 5–15 OR cases daily Systems & Equipment EMR: EPIC (“Citrix”) Equipment: OEC C-arms Medtronic O-Arm Fuji general X-ray & portable units Siemens fluoroscopy Radiology Supervisor/Lead: Yes, on day shift RRA: Not utilized Radiologist On-site: Yes, Mon–Fri 08:00–16:30 (after-hours teleradiology) IV Starts: Not required Schedule & Call Requirements Shifts: 8-hour or 12-hour shifts, Monday–Sunday Start Times: Days: 06:00, 07:00, 07:30, 11:30 Nights: 19:00–07:00 (mostly weekends) Scheduling: Created by manager Call Requirements: Weekdays: After shift (15:30/16:00–07:00), 1–2 days/week Weekends: Every 3rd weekend Weekend shifts are 12 hours (0700 start) On-call during scheduled weekend when not working Average 8.5–15.5 hours of call Response Time: 20–30 minutes Holiday Coverage: If needed Dress Code Scrubs provided Orientation 1.5–2 weeks of clinical training + EPIC training Additional Notes Welcoming, team-focused, “family feel” department Updated: 2/15/2024
