Senior Controls Engineer

About the Role

This role is split between

• Compensation Package includes the ability to earn 50% of the revenue you generate. Bonus potential could be up to 100k/yr or more in addition to base salary..
• 50% Work-from-Home: project development, programming, AutoCAD, HMI work
• 50% On-Site: troubleshooting and support at customer facilities
• Most work is in the Philadelphia–Baltimore corridor, with occasional overnight travel (1–2x/month) nationwide

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement PLC programs (Omron, Allen Bradley, Siemens, etc.)
• Troubleshoot and repair systems in the field
• Create control designs and HMIs with AutoCAD Electrical. Lead projects from concept through startup
• Mentor technicians and coordinate with customers

Requirements

• 5+ years of PLC controls experience
• Proven troubleshooting and independent problem-solving skills
• Willingness to travel (local 80%, national 20%)
• Bonus skills: AutoCAD Electrical, networking, robotics, safety systems
