Registered Nurse - Labor and Delivery Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleNight shift, 4x12 hours (19:00 - 07:00)
Job DescriptionWe are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our Labor and Delivery (L&D) Unit. The ideal candidate will be capable of providing comprehensive care to both mothers and infants in a low to moderate volume department. This unit has approximately 100 births annually, requiring a strong level of autonomy and experience.
Responsibilities- Provide care in a Labor, Delivery, Recovery, and Postpartum (LDRP) setting.
- Monitor fetal heart activity and manage patient progresses through labor.
- Assist with both low and high-risk deliveries, maintaining high standards of care.
- Float to MedSurg and provide support in other roles as needed.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in Labor and Delivery.
- Current certifications: ACLS, NRP, AWHONN, and BLS.
- Strong experience with fetal heart monitoring preferred.
- Ability to float to other departments as necessary.
