Registered Nurse - Operating Room Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
ScheduleDay Shift: 5 days a week, 8-hour shifts (07:00 - 15:30)
Job DescriptionWe are seeking a skilled Registered Nurse to join our Operating Room team. The ideal candidate must be able to circulate in orthopedics, spine, robotics, and general surgery.
Responsibilities- Circulate for various surgical procedures including orthopedic, spine, general, and robotic surgeries.
- Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure safe and efficient patient care.
- Administer blood and blood products, maintain infection control, and follow safety protocols.
- Handle specimens appropriately and ensure proper labeling.
- Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in an Operating Room setting.
- Certifications in ACLS and BLS are preferred.
- Proficiency in thoracic, general, orthopedic, and urologic surgical procedures preferred.
- Experience with Epic charting system is preferred.
