WCS Healthcare is currently seeking a Med/Surg Telemetry Registered Nurse for a contract assignment at a Prestigious Hospital in Hartford, CT.
Job Function:
\n- Shift: Days, EOW - 7am to 7:30pm- 36hrs per week \n
- Provide direct patient care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients, including continuous cardiac monitoring and assessment \n
- Monitor and interpret telemetry and EKG readings to identify rhythm changes and report abnormalities to the care team \n
- Administer medications, IV therapies, and other physician-ordered treatments in accordance with hospital protocols \n
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to develop, implement, and update patient care plans \n
- Respond promptly to changes in patient condition, including rapid response situations and cardiac events \n
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and post-hospital care plans \n
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic medical record system \n
Job Requirements: \n
- Active RN License \n
- 2+ years of experience \n
- BLS and ACLS \n
