▪\tNuc Med: 3 rooms (Gamma Camera, Stress Room, PET CT)
•\tWill you accept a traveler with 1-year experience? Yes – would prefer more
•\tWill you accept a first-time traveler? Yes
●\tPatient Types:
•\tED, Outpatient, Inpatient
•\tDEXA scans, Cardiac scans, Stress Rest tests, HIDA scans, Renal scans, Bone scans, PET CT
●\tPatients seen in a day (average per day):
•\t8-10 per day; when switched to do PET CT’s can only do 5/day
●\tRequired Licensure and Certifications:
•\tBLS
•\tNMTCB or ARRT (NM) required
•\tDosimeter (Dose reader badge) required
•\tME State license
●\tSkills required:
•\tExperience with above scans
●\tSupport on the Unit:
•\tLead Tech
•\t2 techs on per shift
•\tInternal Transport
•\tRadiologist on site
●\tTechnology/Equipment:
•\tEMR: Cerner
•\tPACS: Enterprise Imaging AGFA
•\tEquipment used:
▪\tSiemens dual head camera
▪\tGE IQ PET CT

●\tFloating:
•\tFixed location
●\tOrientation:
•\t2 weeks of orientation; dependent on skillset/comfort level
●\tScheduling:
•\tNo weekends
•\tNo call required
•\tHoliday Expectations: None
•\tRTO: Manager Approval
•\tSchedules:
▪\tTechs will rotate start times between 0530-0600 or 0700
▪\t8-10 hr. days, depending on schedule that day
●\tOther notes:
•\tScrub Color: any solid color as long as professional, or provided by facility if needed
•\tParking: Free
