Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) - PRN Days

Job Summary

Hiring for a Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN/LPN) to provide patient care under the direction of a Registered Nurse. This role includes gathering and reporting patient data, carrying out clinical orders, and performing therapeutic procedures in an age-appropriate and population-appropriate manner.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care as directed by an RN.

• Collect, document, and report patient data.

• Perform therapeutic procedures according to established guidelines.

• Ensure care is delivered safely and in compliance with policies and standards.

• Perform additional related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• Active LVN/LPN license in the applicable state.

• Current BLS certification.

• One year of inpatient medical-surgical experience preferred, not required.

Preferred Experience (Not Required)

• Prior experience in emergency or critical care settings.

• Comfort working with vents, trachs, PICC lines, etc.

• Two years of direct patient care experience.
