Certified Surgical Technologist CVOR

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Surgical Technologist to join our surgical team in Houston, Texas. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in CVOR or Main OR settings and a strong commitment to providing the highest standard of patient care and surgical support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and maintain the operating room for surgical procedures
• Assist surgeons and nurses during operations by ensuring proper instruments and supplies are available
• Maintain sterile fields and follow infection control standards at all times
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team during procedures
• Ensure instruments and equipment are properly cleaned, sterilized, and maintained
• Support the team in both emergency and scheduled surgical cases

Requirements

• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) through NBSTSA or NCCT, including CST number and expiration date
• Minimum of one year of current CVOR experience for the CVOR role
• Minimum of two years of experience in the Main OR; Orthopedic experience preferred
• Must have an up-to-date resume with accurate job history and unit details
