Machine Shop CNC Mill Setup/Operator

Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in precision machining and high-quality production, is seeking a Machine Shop CNC Mill Setup/Operator to join their team. As a Machine Shop CNC Mill Setup/Operator, you will be part of the manufacturing support team supporting production operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and problem-solving skills which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: CNC Machine Shop CNC Mill Setup/Operator

Location: Mead, CO

Pay Range: up to $30/hour based on experience

Shift: Friday–Sunday, 12-hour shifts (36 hours paid as 40 with 4 bonus hours)

What's the Job?

• Prepare jobs by building tools, fixturing, material prep, and loading work/tool offsets
• Operate CNC Machines
• Coordinate with programmers on job progress and suggest improvements
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently to minimize downtime
• Load and unload equipment and materials safely
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on machinery

What's Needed?

• 2+ years experience in CNC Mill setup and operation
• Familiarity with machine shop and quality lab tools and equipment
• Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
• Ability to handle a physical workload
• Comfort working in a fast-paced environment
