Sepal is conducting a research study to understand work excellence among middle school teachers, except special and career/technical education to establish professional benchmarks. Selected participants will share their professional background, design field-specific screening questions, and document substantial work projects as case studies.\n-- Timeline: Now through December 29th\n-- Commitment: 40–100 total hours\n-- Begins with a paid 2–4 day work trial\n-- Fully remote and flexible schedule\n\nSample of reported job titles: Art Teacher, English Teacher, Language Arts Teacher (LA Teacher), Math Teacher (Mathematics Teacher), Middle School Teacher, Music Teacher, PE Teacher (Physical Education Teacher), Science Teacher, Social Studies Teacher, Teacher\n\nMUST-HAVE QUALIFICATIONS:\n--5+ years full-time experience as a middle school teacher (except special and career/technical education)\n--Native-level English language fluency\n--U.S. residency\n--Access to a laptop or desktop computer with reliable internet\n--Available for at least 10 hours per week during the 2-3 week engagement (work is fully asynchronous and on your own schedule)\n--Technology proficiency: Comfortable with messaging, video calling, and uploading files\n--Ability to follow detailed written instructions and complete online tasks independently\n\nThis is a short-term project requiring roughly 40–100 hours of work total, between now and December 29th. The engagement begins with a paid 2–4 day trial.\n\nCOMPENSATION AND LOGISTICS:\n--Hourly pay: $35-52 per hour, plus task bonuses, based on experience and fit\n--Paid bi-weekly based on tracked and approved hours\n--Classification as 1099 independent-contractor; engagement is at-will\n--Entirely remote, work whenever you like as long as deadlines are met\n--Current employment in the field is NOT required\n\nWHY PARTICIPATE?
