Position: Heavy Equipment Loader/Lift Operator and Drain Station Technician
Industry: Automotive
Salary: up to $21/hour, based on experience
Schedule: 1st Shift (7:00 AM – 4:00 PM) M-F
Contract Type: Direct Hire
Position Overview:
We are looking for a candidate with experience in the automotive industry and with heavy equipment operating experience to provide efficient work to vehicles prepared for staging. This will include:
Main Tasks:
- Operate a Loader/Lift to transport, position, and organize vehicles safely and efficiently.
- Assist with carefully drain all fluids, oils, and remove necessary parts, preparing vehicles for placement in the storage yard.
- Accurately document and update records for every vehicle processed, ensuring timely completion.
- Perform additional duties as needed.
Key Qualities and Skills:
- Experience operating lifts, loaders (automotive heavy loader with car forks), and other heavy machinery is required.
- Able to work alone efficiently, safely and maintain focus.
- Reliable, friendly, and consistently present.
- Pays close attention to details and maintains a strong work ethic.
- Familiarity with cars or automotive maintenance is an asset.
