Electrophysiology Tech - Cardiac Cath EP Lab Schedule
Day 4x10-Hour shifts (06:00 - 16:30), including weekends as needed.
Job DescriptionSeeking an Electrophysiology Tech to join our team in the Cardiac Cath EP Lab. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing Electrophysiology studies, including arrhythmia induction, baseline measurements, and cardiac ablation, while ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile technique.
Responsibilities- Accurate monitoring of patients during procedures.
- Setting up equipment and preparing access sites.
- Performing EKG lead placement and recognizing life-threatening arrhythmias.
- Circulating and scrubbing for various electrophysiology procedures.
- Inserting and programming AICDs, performing pacemaker insertions, and conducting conduction studies.
- Using Vascular Closure Systems such as Perclose and StarClose.
- Maintaining a sterile field throughout procedures.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in an Electrophysiology lab.
- ACLS and BLS certification are required.
- Experience with the Epic charting system is preferred.
