RN - Cath Lab

Job Details:

• Work 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Patient ratio of 1:3-4
• Minimum 2 years of experience required
• IR experience required - 85% interventional radiology, 15% cardiology split
• First-time travelers accepted
• Required certifications: ACLS, BLS, NIH
• Must be willing and able to provide STEMI call coverage
• Skills required: Scrub, Circulate, Telemetry
• Preferred skills: IV Start, Triage, PA Lines, Conscious Sedation
• Call requirement: Every 3rd week - weekdays 4:00 PM to 7:30 AM, weekend call Friday 4:00 PM until Monday 7:30 AM
• One call weekend per month and one week following call weekend with no call
• 30-minute callback time for STEMIs
• Handle interventional radiology, invasive cardiology, peripheral vascular and EP device implant procedures
• Work with specialized equipment including MAC Lab, IVUS, Toshiba Angio Lab, Angio Jet systems
• Epic charting system experience required
• 16-hour unit orientation provided
• Scrubs provided
• No floating requirements
• Must work 2 out of 3 major holidays
• Cannot work more than 5 days in a row or more than 60 hours per week
