Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with project managers to set up and organize project financials, ensuring accuracy from the outset.
- Manage monthly payment applications, coordinating effectively with subcontractors and client teams.
- Oversee contracts, subcontracts, and purchase agreements, including the monitoring of insurance certificates, bonds, and lien waivers.
- Track contract performance to ensure alignment with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.
- Process and review change orders, amendments, and claims to manage project risk and preserve profitability.
- Maintain and analyze project cost reports, investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
- Work closely with project teams to address and resolve contractual matters as they arise.
- Support financial procedures during project close-out, ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
- Prepare thorough records for audit readiness and compliance purposes.
- Assist with additional accounting functions as required.

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field.• At least 2 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the construction industry.
• Proficiency in construction accounting practices such as AIA billing and job costing.
• Strong knowledge of general ledger management and journal entries.
• Familiarity with financial software like Viewpoint Vista.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills to work with diverse teams.
