Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist with at least 2 years of experience in CT and X-ray imaging for an acute care, Level 3 trauma setting.
Responsibilities- Position is based in an acute care hospital radiology department with 120 beds
- Work includes CT, X-ray, C-arm and fluoroscopic imaging in hospital and clinic settings
- Equipment includes Siemens Flash, Philips Brilliance 64 CT, Carestream and Siemens X-ray, Siemens and Hologic Mini C-arms
- Uses Epic (OneChart) EMR and Sectra PACS image viewing system
- Shifts are a mix of 8, 10, and 12 hours, rotating days, nights, and weekends with no call
- Potential floating to X-ray, Fluoro, Operating Room, and CT units
- Responsible for performing diagnostic CT, X-ray, C-arm, and fluoroscopy procedures and ensuring quality diagnostic images
- Orientation includes training on X-ray equipment, C-arms, and CT; clinicians are not scheduled alone until fully oriented to all modalities
- Scrub color is gray
- All clinicians must badge in and out at the facility
- Returning candidates must have an end date at least 6 months prior if previously employed at this location
- Candidates living within 80 miles are considered local and will receive a local pay adjustment
- ARRT RT(R) certification required; ARRT (CT) certification preferred but not required
- Active BLS certification from the AHA required
- Minimum of 2 years recent experience in X-ray and CT imaging
- Experience performing C-arm scans in an OR setting required
- MN Net Study compliance required within two weeks of offer acceptance
- License required if applicable
