American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position at an acute care hospital in Torrance, CA, requiring AWHONN Advanced certification and a minimum of 3 years of experience.

- Labor & Delivery unit within a 356-bed acute care hospital in Torrance, CA \n
- Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (19:00–07:00) \n
- Weekend availability is required \n
- Floating required to Mother Baby unit and may also be required to float to a sister facility in San Pedro, CA \n
- Epic EMR experience required \n
- No on-call requirements \n
- Free parking available \n

- Active CA RN license required (pending licenses not accepted) \n
- Current certifications required: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced Fetal Monitoring, BLS, and NRP \n
- Minimum 3 years of Labor & Delivery experience required \n
- Epic EMR proficiency required \n
- Precepting skills preferred \n
- Minimum of 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of employment within the last 3 years in a comparable specialty or setting required for consideration \n
- Full SSN and DOB required for consideration \n

- First-time travelers are welcome to apply \n
- Local candidates are accepted; candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are subject to a local rate \n
- Former permanent employees of the facility must wait at least 3 months before returning as a traveler and must reside more than 50 miles from the facility \n
- All travelers are expected to float between facilities within the state; refusal to float may result in termination of the assignment \n
- Scrubs may be any color \n
- Block scheduling requests are subject to manager discretion \n
- Any RTO requests must be disclosed upfront at the time of consideration \n
