Project Superintendent - Now Hiring

Superintendent Location: Walla Walla, WA Job Type: Full-Time Industry: Construction / General Contracting System One is seeking an experienced Superintendent to oversee and manage on-site construction activities for our client. This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget while maintaining the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, consultants, and vendors to keep projects on the critical path. Monitor and enforce quality control standards for all work performed on-site. Communicate effectively with the project team regarding RFIs, potential change orders, and material submittals. Ensure subcontractors comply fully with their contractual scope of work. Identify and address safety, health, and environmental compliance issues; implement corrective action plans. Resolve conflicts in construction progress by collaborating with project and operations teams. Maintain accurate daily logs of job site activities. Conduct daily walkthroughs to monitor progress and assist with planning. Lead weekly subcontractor meetings to coordinate work and address issues. Issue notices of non-compliance related to quality or scheduling. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site at all times. Oversee punch list creation and completion for job progress and final delivery. Qualifications Ability to read and interpret construction documents, safety rules, and technical manuals. Strong written and verbal communication skills; capable of preparing reports and presenting to stakeholders. Ability to obtain military base access (if required). OSHA certification and prior experience in general contracting strongly preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, climb, balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl as needed. Must frequently lift/move up to 15 lbs and occasionally up to 25 lbs. Visual acuity for close and distance vision, color differentiation, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
