Compensation- Estimated Weekly Salary Range: $1680 - $1800 per week
- Location: Asheville, NC 28801
- Unit: K9A - Oncology/Women’s Surgical (9th Floor, Building K)
- Shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM (12-hour night shifts)
- Hours per Week: 36
- Assignment Duration: 13 weeks (Start: 12/7/2025 – End: 3/8/2026)
- Patient Ratio: 1:4 or 1:5
- Weekend Requirement: 6 weekend days per schedule
- Dress Code: RNs – Navy, white, or a combination
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina or compact state
- BLS certification required
- Minimum 1 year of recent acute care RN experience (Oncology nursing experience preferred)
- Chemo Certification preferred (not required)
- Strong teamwork and adaptability skills
- Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to oncology and women’s surgical patients
- Monitor, assess, and document patient conditions using Cerner EMR
- Administer medications, including chemotherapy (if certified), and perform standard nursing procedures
- Assist with pelvic exams, echocardiograms, and thoracentesis procedures
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to achieve optimal patient outcomes
- Ensure compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and safety standards
- Float to other medical-surgical units as needed (rarely required)
