Job Description

Role: Program Directors oversee the curricular and operational needs of their assigned program. All activities of this position are to make a contribution to the fulfillment of the mission of the university.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include:

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to accomplish each of the below duties satisfactorily:

Teaching/Instruction

  • Administration:
    • Reviewing and approving timesheets for adjuncts and managing related trackers and communication.
    • Participating in marketing/recruitment efforts, such as Information Sessions and program nights.
    • Attend regular director meetings to plan for future growth and development
  • Curriculum & Compliance:
    • Overseeing curriculum building and maintenance, including online course design and monitoring all program updates in Canvas, the MAED Handbook, and the university website.
    • Managing CTC accreditation documentation, specifically for the School Psychologist Performance Expectations (PPSP) and WASC curriculum mapping.
  • Faculty Management & Support:
    • Supervising all program adjunct instructors and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
    • Hiring new adjunct faculty (reviewing CVs and conducting initial interviews).
    • Staffing courses each term and managing the Adjunct Pool.
    • Monitoring the work of SMEs, advising on content updates, and collecting/analyzing student evaluation data for course improvement.
    • Providing instructional and technology support to instructors, acting as a Teaching Assistant (TA) for all School Psychology courses.
    • Completing annual adjunct faculty evaluations (IPDs).
  • Student & Fieldwork:
    • Coordinating fieldwork, which involves training supervisors, orienting new students, and managing the fieldwork tracking system.
    • Addressing student issues, including meeting with instructors/advisors and communicating with the Senior Director and Dean.
  • Teaching:
    • Provide consistent, year-round instruction for the program's fully online course offerings.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Master's degree required.
  • California Credential in Pupil Personnel Services, School Psychology required.

Full Time Faculty, Exempt

$76,000-$112,500/yr
